Bottom Line Equipment Broke ground on their new location in Sulphur, LA on April 11. The new facility will house a full service heavy construction equipment and specialty attachment rental, sales and service center, making its fleet of over 1,100 machines more accessible to dealers across the Gulf Coast. Caterpillar Announces Grand Opening of 3D Printing and Innovation Accelerator

On March 31st, Caterpillar celebrated the grand opening of their 3D Printing and Innovation Accelerator in Illinois. The unit is comprised of three spaces: the Innovation Accelerator and Additive Manufacturing Factory, both in Mossville, IL, and the Cat MicroFoundry located in Mapleton, IL. FHWA’s loan to add 4 toll lanes to SH 288 in Houston

The Federal Highway Administration has allotted a $357 million Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act loan to the Blueridge Transportation Group. AmQuip Crane Rental and Maxim Crane Works Consolidate Operations

Apollo Global Management, LLC closed a deal this week that allowed them to acquire both AmQuip Crane Rental and Maxim Crane Works. Apollo plans to combine the two companies, giving them a total crane fleet of over 1,950 machines and a vast reach over North America.
